Tablescapes 2012
There's a whole lot happening in the parish hall. At least a dozen folks are gathered and working on designs for tables. That's right tables. There's a Roll Tide Roll table, Camel and middle east table, Steppin' Out table and sorts of other themes all somehow related to our guest speaker Marshall Ramsey. The coolest thing about all this is that fun that folks are having putting it together!

A new post!
Sorry! Again it's been 3 months since I last updated my blog. Since that time we've had some great programs and opportunities at church! If you haven't been plugging into our Adult Christian Education program, "The Challenge of Jesus", it's not to late! The program will take us into next semester and not culminate until February 2012. Come check it out!

Last weeks transcript!
I tried to scan the transcript from last week but the copier wouldn't let me. Or, the larger problem is probably that the user of the copier (me) is incompetent and unable to make the device scan! So check back tomorrow after I have had time for a tutorial on how to scan and post pdf files!

The Challenge of Jesus
Thanks to everyone for attending our adult Sunday school class. I'm really excited about offering this class and look forward to some great lessons and discussions. I have always found the life and times of Jesus to be a fascinating part of history. Probably the big thing to take from our first class into coming sessions is the term "matrix." Professor Crossan uses this term to encompass the entirety of time and place in explaining or discussing the life of our Lord. Holler at me if you have questions!
